Students are the future of the MTT-S and the IMS. Each year the Steering Committee takes seriously the need to provide a program that encourages the professional growth of its future leaders. The IEEE MTT-S Young Professionals invite all young professionals and student members and guests to a complimentary reception at IMS2017. Location to be announced soon.

Student Volunteer Opportunities: IMS2017 will have a need for student volunteers for a variety of activities. Details to be announced soon.

Student Competitions: A number of student events and competitions are held at the IMS each year. These consist of the student paper competition and a number of other design competitions, which vary from year to year. 

PhD Student Sponsorship Initiative: The PhD student sponsorship initiative established and sponsored by the MTT-S Administrative Committee will be back for IMS2017! 

IMS2017 STEM Program: This program will center on a day of fun and informational activities in association with the June 2017 International Microwave Symposium (IMS20176).
